The first week home with our new baby. It took a couple of days before little E was happy with our new housemate! :) He would try to detach him while he was nursing and bonked him on the head a couple of times. Time-outs were a bit routine the first 2 days. But now it's all kisses and hugs and we have to watch that he doesn't try to pick him up and walk off with him! Of course, there will be another adjustment when little B begins to crawl and little E discovers that his toys are no longer his alone! We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Little E often tries to put on his own boots. His biggest problem is that he seems only to be able to manage one boot. The ability to put on the second boot continues to elude him. Thus he spends a fair bit of time walking around with one boot on and eventually bringing me the second boot for assistance! Once the second boot is on we then have the conversation about how it isn't time to go outside yet. Little E would spend as much time outside as possible, which is great except we don't have a fence and he isn't so careful about running out towards the road. So, outside time is somewhat limited until we solve the fence issue.

3 of my favourite guys. I wondered if little B would feel big to me considering little E came home under 4 lbs. Little B was starting out at twice that weight with 8lbs. However, time is a wonderful thing and I've forgotten what 4lbs is like and 8lbs feels lovely and tiny. So tiny that Big E is still hesitant about changing diapers for little B...."because he's too little". :) It's obvious he's forgotten too, 'cause he used to change little E's little 4lb bum!

Grandma and Grandpa on Big E's side of the family returned from Guatemala and brought this cute little hat with them. We took a picture because he was already wearing red and it just seemed to coordinate so well! We're all about the fashion! We look forward to bringing our new little one back east so Grandma and Grandpa can meet him. So far only Grandma B has been able to hold him and see what a cute little fellow he is.

Little E's favourite activity these days. He builds his block tower, waits for me to say, "No, no, no!" and then rams into the tower riding on his Tonka. Then you have to hold your hand to your head and say, "Oh man!", which he repeats gleefully.
Thanks for popping in dear reader. Hope you have a good day!

I've been thinking about ya. Glad you seem to be doing well. Your boys are so cute! Thanks for letting us invade your house and see your new babe. We'll have to come again soon.(Before I can't sit that long in a vehicle) And I'll have to email the couple of pics I took. Finally got them onto the computer.
