The following are pictures of what we found when Big E took down the drywall in our livingroom. None too pretty eh? It took some doing, but he got all the awful stuff out, fixed, re-framed part of the wall and window and then put insulation in and vapor barrier up. Now all we have to do is put new drywall up. Oh joy, oh joy. But this was the biggest fix we had to do to get the house ready to sell, so it's all downhill after this....downhill right to a sale we hope!

Rotted wood...we figured out it had actually been leaking through the screw holes in the siding. Fabulous.

See the light coming up from the bottom? That's the OUTSIDE! Yikes. I can't imagine why our heating bill was going up, can you?!

Winter Fun!

Well, there's still snow but the weather has been lovely. We've take the opportunity to hang out outside! Here are the boys sitting in the coach part of their outdoor train snow sculpture.

Big E is in the midst of his mid-term exams. We don't know all the marks yet, but his organic chemistry proff told him he'd done well and his inorganic chemistry teacher posted marks amazingly fast and so Big E knows he got an A+ in that exam. He has really worked hard and it shows!

We are trying to get going on the renovations needed to sell our little home on the prairie. Here are some pictures of the beginnings...

So this is what my bathroom cabinets looked like. Plain white with 70's handles and awful hinges. I'm hoping to replace said handles and hinges...but we'll see. For now I'm dealing only with paint...

Here's what it looks like all painted. I have some touch ups to do on the white...but I'm really diggin' it!

Horrible dark brown trim around the top of the bathroom.

SO much better with the green - its official colour is OASIS...how perfect for a bathroom!!

And here are some shots of the boys playing outside. Munchkin had gotten some snow in his mitt and he wasn't too happy with it. I love the rosy cheeks!

Little Dude and Munchkin having fun together outside. Little Dude was driving the train.

Munchkin happy to be on the train. Every time I'd take a picture he'd get down and ask to see the picture on the camera!

The discovery of ice and icicles. :)

Munchkin on the train and Little Dude running around.
