Here is Big E's Conductor Graduation photo. These men and 1 woman conduct trains all across the western region which extends from British Columbia to Thunder Bay Ontario. BIG area.
Here is our poor little sprout. I wasn't going to post it because it looks so awful, worse than it is I think and we didn't want to worry some family members too much....but I think they found out about it anyway and so I might as well post them for all to see! Sprout's eczema was infected with both a bacteria and a virus.
The large spots under his ear lobe are from the bacteria and all the little spots (which are currently healing up) are from the virus. What I THINK happened is that Sprout got into some yogurt that he found on the table. I thought his extreme eczema on his hands would be the extent of it, but his ears also became open sores. Open to things like bacteria and viruses floating about in the air. We need to be extra careful, and we've spoken to the other boys about cleaning up milk products (milk cups in the sink, yogurt cups in the garbage). In the mean time, it is getting much better and he is bothered by it less.

I figured it out!! So, the boys found some little 1 hour old hare babies. Apparently arctic hares give birth in open grassy areas. They feed their babies in the morning and at night and then they're gone the rest of the time. Which means we humans often assume the babies have been abandoned. Then we try to rescue them. This is a big enough problem that CBC radio had to do a spot on it!
We visited our legislature building during the Queen's Jubilee celebration.
And we played in the fountains.
Little Dude graduated from kindergarten and I took some pictures outside.
He wanted pictures with his best pal from class.
We'll have to keep in touch during our upcoming year of homeschooling.
