Christmas morning was a bit of a whirlwind!  Here's a peek at things the night before...

Christmas morning arrived....at 8am.  :)  Which, believe it or not, is a bit early for our crew who lately sleep until 9am!!...I think it has something to do with it being dark so long...they just sleep more.  I'll miss that in the summer!

And we had some good reactions...

Almost Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...and so we went to see Santa!

The girls are a bit blurry...but they (or I) moved and then they got off before I could snap another.  Little Bunny was OBVIOUSLY unimpressed.
 Little Dude.
 Munchkin.
 Sprout.

I had some fun dressing up both girls and doing Big Bunny's hair.  She was excited about dressing up and wearing her fancy shoes.  It's been a great year for them....Little Bunny arrived and started to roll over a couple of days later...now she's walking along while holding onto things!!  Big Bunny came with one word sentences and a fair bit of pointing and grunting....now speaks five (or more) word sentences and is becoming more independent.

Little Dude continues to surprise us with his physical feats...I need to sign that child up for gymnastics and is very interested in computer creations through games like Roblox and Minecraft.

Munchkin also enjoys the computer creations and he and Little Dude set up their own worlds to play in together (we have 2 computers...so one will be downstairs and one upstairs...but playing in the same world).

Both of them continue to demonstrate their maturity when dealing with the three younger children...playing with them and helping them to do things they're trying to do.  Although, I have heard, "Sprout...Time Out!" a time or two as well...lol.

Sprout is our resident ham...a laugh a minute.  Especially as he tried to copy his older brothers.  He shares Little Dude's talent with physicality and is currently trying to perfect the headstand.

So that's a brief wrap up of the year from the point of view of the short ones in our house....I'm hoping to send out some New Year's cards and if I'm really on the ball, I'll have a family letter done up too.  Wish me luck!

Grandma was trying to clear the counter and Sprout decided to help her....surely licking the counter makes it cleaner...right??

WRONG!   Grandma has to wash the lick spot...so Sprout picks another spot...you get the picture.  Grandma is laughing too hard to tell him to stop.

 Some art work from Munchkin...

We visited Grandpa every day in the hospital as he was getting used to his new leg.  He came home not too long after we left!
We headed to an indoor playground one windy cold day...and they had this cool projection toy.
Not too long before we had to head back home we decided to visit one of my favourite places, a place I remember visiting as a child....The Children's M

Phew, that was a full homeschool day!!!....Not long ago our Bishop was talking with the boys and asked their ages and what grades they were in.  Munchkin told him that he did school at home and so the Bishop asked Little Dude if he also did school at home.  At first he said no, then he corrected it and said, "Well, yes...but my Mom doesn't teach me anything."  WAHAHAaaa....nice timing eh?  This would be one reason he things he's not being taught...days like this...lol.

Then all too soon we had to head back to the airport...and while my sister in law drove, our passengers started out alert....
But then they all started to look like this.  :)
