Uncle D was there for both birthdays. Here Munchkin is getting ready to blow out his candle on the Winnie the Pooh cupcake. He didn't even wait for us to sing Happy Birthday to him, he blew it out right away!
The Pooh head was just a plastic thing. I don't know how mothers who work full time do home made cake things. I just can't seem to pull it together...so store bought it was!
Although every one else had home made egg and milk free cupcakes...they weren't quite so pretty mind you.
Little Dude figured that enough icing makes anything taste good!
Uncle D left on Friday and it had just snowed a little bit. Here the boys are playing by Big E's car across the parking lot from our unit. There's barely enough snow for their snow angels.
2 days later it looked like this. See the mounds of snow by the wall behind my vehicle? That's where they boys had been playing in the previous picture. They are now excited to be out shoveling, making snow angels and caves, generally digging around.
We're back to snow pants. You might not think it's that big of a deal, but our winter here has been so warm that we haven't been in snow pants much. It has been balmy here!
At least until now.
Here's a shot of the tree just outside my front door.
And here are the boys having fun together outside.

Muscles!
All right....I don't know why this stayed sideways...because I'd fixed that!! Grrrr. Technology not obeying my every whim!
February
Poor little Sprout, this is what he looks like when he gets into something he's allergic to.
Allergy close-up.
Boys wanted to demonstrate their height differences.
Sprout took to Uncle D almost right away. In 3 days he would go to him when he held out his hands. Uncle D was here training and got to stay with us for almost 3 weeks, we loved having him here!
This is Uncle D being doctor.
Everyone was pretty interested in the proceedings.
Little Dude's birthday cupcake (Eyore), he's 6!
We went out for a breakfast celebration for both boys, Little Dude's birthday was on a Wednesday and Munchkin's birthday is on the following Tuesday - so we hit the restaurant on the Saturday in between.
That's where they got to open their presents.
Sprout loved getting to sip from a straw.
How to get more room at the table...get the kids to sit UNDER it!
Big E spent LOTS of time doing transformers since Gramma Z had sent some too!
This was my birthday/anniversary present. :) I've discovered Angry Birds.

oops
So, I was totally going to put up new pictures, even a video (since Little Dude insisted on doing a video) but I've gotten side tracked. This whole week has been a bit of a struggle on the to-do list end of things because Sprout got exposed to some milk and either he was getting sick (and we didn't see any signs of it) or this has been some wacko reaction to the cream he ingested. First it was diarrhea, then throwing up and fever all day and now it's been intermittent...but still not well. His eczema has flared (I took a picture...poor guy looks really bad around the eyes) and he's fussy. Who can blame him!?! So I took more pictures today intending to put them up after the kidlets went to sleep. Then they didn't go to sleep, then Sprout decided he REALLY couldn't sleep. When he finally passed out I got up to put him in his crib only to hear Munchkin start to cry upstairs (in the same room that I was about to put Sprout in) because he'd just thrown up. Got him cleaned up, Sprout woke up again and so I started trying to settle him again. He was finally out when I hear crying upstairs again....MORE barf. Ugh. I'm taking a break from the clean up to write this, but I'll have you know -dear reader- that when I leave you I'm going to have to drag my sorry butt upstairs and clean partially digested pizza out of my carpet. Oh joy. You know, some things would be SO much easier if we'd just stuck to dirt floors.
