Balloons and fun....it is BIRTHDAY TIME!!




My baby is 3!!! Wow...we celebrated both birthdays on Family Day. So, for Little Dude we did a banana muffin with candles. We did a lemon muffin for Munchkin the following Saturday, and I took video but it isn't loaded onto the computer yet. Monday we did the the big cake and party. We played freeze dancing and hot potato....and I made the potato actually hot! LOL...it was fun to watch the adult's faces as they got the potato and realized it was actually quite warm!

He did blow...but his aim was off. Mommy helped.

The second biggest news in our house (besides the 3rd and 1st birthday of Little Dude and Munchkin) is that my name went on the substitute teaching list out here. Last Wednesday I went to visit 4 of the schools out here and on Thursday one of them called back and asked if I'd supply teach one day next month and would I be interested in taking over Kindergarten from April to the end of the year! Absolutely perfect...2 days/week with 5 year olds. Fun...and just what our budge ordered. There is even a possibility of doing Kindergarten again in the fall until next April when their teacher would be back from her maternity leave.

Welcome back reader! I took some video today of Munchkin...Little Dude and Big E were in bed and I was waiting for this little guy to wind down enough to head to bed himself. He did finally and then I stayed up to finish this blog post before bed.

Well, we've been doing lots as you can see in this video.
Lovely sunflowers...but visual clutter in my kitchen.
Visual clutter GONE! I didn't realize it was so easy to take off...of course if you had a whole wall that would be different.

I've started taking down a wallpaper border that has been cluttering my wall in the kitchen and this weekend we pulled everything out of Little Dude's and Munchkin's room to pare down and de-clutter. Whew...some of the mess you see in the background of the video is the result of that de-cluttering...we have things that need to go to the second hand store or straight out the door. The rest of the mess...well, quite frankly is just us. :) We're working on things, but as I've mentioned before...I'm a recovering clutter addict with frequent relapses. I'm working on things, and that's about as good as it's going to get right now.

We can hardly believe that in a week Little Dude will turn 3....6 days later Munchkin will turn 1! Wow, how time flies. There are no words to explain how this phenomenon happens

Here are Little Dude and Munchkin helping out...I don't understand why I can't have an immaculate house with two such eager helpers.

If we can't go on a train ride, we'll make our own!

It's been such a busy day, I'll just rest here before I vaccuum! Thanks Munchkin. :)
